Almost every single time I look at a rate calendar, it's like a ghost town.If you want STR why would you do it in someplace like Joshua Tree, or Big Bear, Tijuana,  or someplace right near you, vs long distance?

We did spend above average amount of time at a house on N Edgemont Dr NW due to a tree hitting the house.

We want them to have coffee/tea, dairy and non-dairy creamer, some fruit and instant oatmeal so they can grab a quick meal in case they don't have time to hit the grocery store.

I would never buy a property without an inspection myself.In regards to claims the insurance companies these days have the ability to see all claims on a property and if there are a lot of non- act of god claims like trees falling on the house they can either increase the cost of insurance or outright not insure the property at all.
