However I am in new territoryI recently got into a partnership deal in Bryan college station, tx BCS.

A mini-mart is listed, 2 gas stations, a bank, a couple of restaurants, and others.

When I got stationed here I bought a 3 bed 2 bath house that was a fixer upper.

Also, fill out the keyword alerts for words you'd like to be notified of when they are being discussed (fixer, rehab, fix and flip, College Station, Texas, etc.)

You have to watch as not all property is a good deal (common land in a development, old gas stations, swamp land) and you could end up with a property that you get stuck with (why the original owners probably stopped paying taxes....

Talk to surrounding neighbors and explore the neighborhoods for types of houses nearby, nearby stores, gas stations, etc.Really, any general tips websites for resources and thoughts on any of these topics would be a great deal of help as I am currently feeling overwhelmed.
