Hauling materials through causes damage, so you always want to work your way out, and paint or replace the front door last, because it will take a beating.If there's a roof leak, then that should come near the beginning of the project.

Rotted floor from leaky toilet rotting walls due o leaking shower valve, and previous owner just ignored. so her floor was taken off, sub floor replaced, new flooring put in, new toilet and vanity and sink, now working on new shower valve and tiles.
