@ Micheal CraigOk that is very differentwith no pics hard to advise but if a vinyl window it should have a mech most likely failed They don't have balancers per say but there is often a part that fails that can be accessed from the inside portion of the window on the frameI am a contractor and would hire this out to a window repair company chances are they have the part on the truck and the skill to repair. this should be a low level reasonably priced repair
