Michael Parks can you set up a rent to own contract before subdivision?

then when the subdivision happens lots are divided etc. the renters can buy the house with a bank loan and we could use that cash to pay for subdivision costs. if it is possible to have a rent to own agreement before the lots are divided, what would be the best way to make sure the renters don't end up with the soon to be developed lots?

See in 2007 I opened a flooring and had a ton of new construction developments that I sold and installed to. 2008 hit and by 2009 all of the new construction had stopped.

Also some newer developments - for a brand new home - the contract may have language stating that the home cannot be sold for a period of time - this is to prevent too many investors selling too quickly thus impacting the integrity of the development.Therefore, yes you can sell it at anytime, however, it all depends on how you purchased it.

My folks will also eventually leave us some inheritance which will likely pay off our loan if it's not forgiven, so im less worried about it long term (yes, have the best family ever).Do you think the BRRR method is better than cash buying given my situation?
