I'm a SFH wholesaler and I'm looking for some feedback on my analysis of a 6-unit multi-family building located in the western suburbs of Chicago.

The information available is amazing, but also very overwhelming and I am not sure where to start.I'm currently in some credit card and student loan debt and looking for advice on whether it's smarter to get more in debt to be able to start with flipping/house hacking sooner, or to continue to read for the year and a half to two years or more it will take me to get rid of my debt and save enough for a down payment.  

I am new to Real Estate Investing but I have been doing a lot of reading and research and I am ready to start my career in real estate investing.

I'm currently reading the book on flipping houses, but it would be nice to have a mentor so I can understand the true ups and downs of investing.

Hello All,I've been reading BP for the last couple of weeks and i really wished a resource like this was available when I took my first step into real estate.

If this isn't enough info, go read the threads from unlicensed brokers who TRIED to put contracts on properties with NO MONEY, but smart agents shut them down.

You're already in the right place to have the help you are requesting, just keep hopping into these forums and ask questions, read posts and comment and as @Mindy Jensen mentioned, you'll find yourself in communication with local investors who you may be able to do some work with & for over the next couple years to really get your feet wet in the industry.

I've been reading day and night on this subject since I have become interested, have taken a look at the UBG here on BP, and have more questions than I do answers at this point.
