Given DFW's strong economy and population/job growth, I expect the market will continue to be strong through 2017 (at least), but the marginal rate of growth can't continue at the current pace indefinitely, esp. since we're not at all landlocked and have plenty of room to grow in all directions.I like wholesaling in DFW, but prefer investing in tertiary markets that are less competitive and cash flow better.

I know a lot of people prefer to manage their own properties because nobody takes care of your properties the way that you do, however I know one person can only do so much as one scales up.While I'm sure there are plenty of quality PM companies out there, most of the experiences I have heard have been rather negative such as fees incentivizing turnover and repairs being "band aid fixes" to a bigger problem.

Plenty of opportunities will present themselves if your patient and keep working hard and educating yourself.

There are plenty of people that can be renters that way.  

An investor who has 100 single family properties has plenty of experience to do a multi-family deal.

There are plenty of deals to go around, but you only get one reputation.  

I have plenty of time on my hands and I am currently looking for any way I can get involved with a house flip or any other type of REI.
