Right now I work in a body shop as a parts counter person, I locate and order parts, take them out to the technician who is working on the car and also help figure out what parts are needed if they are completely gone from the accident.

Replace those with new boards.Also, look in the attic (and the garage rafters) for builder stashed leftovers (yes from 1908).You might also be able to pull them from a low traffic area (such as under where a bed will sit), and put them in a high traffic area.The replacement boards will need to profile match the pulled ones.

There has been new construction being built here for a long time however the demand is there so I would say that builders are just meeting the demand. 

Average costs for this area were 125k-145k for this builder, not including land and other soft costs.

There is a property listed for $400,000 and all I need to do is be able to purchase the property (Preferred cash because the other bidders are usually builders) and my friend will handle the loan for building the new properties on the land and any costs involved with demolition and new build. 

My friend and builder live in the area and have said it appears as if he left a couple of weeks ago.

If you own the plan, you are not bound to use the builder.
