Real Estate Passion - Investing/Holding/Flipping

My husband and I have a small business for 7 years now and the last couple of years we’ve been very blessed and business has been great! I’ve had a passion for real estate since I was 19 years old so I work for an architect firm to a real estate firm. Went for my real estate license in California but then the economy crashed. I moved to Texas and worked for a home builder as an operations manager. So I can say I have some experience in buying properties and running a construction project. I finally had the guts to get my Real Estate License in Texas 2012 and I did a few deals and then I started helping my husband with his business. We bought our first home in 2014 which was another great accomplishment.

With all that said I put my passion on the back burner and my husband and I have made a profitable business together. We now have purchased our second home.

So here is my question. How do I convince my husband that we can make money in real estate investment. He doesn’t believe in credit. We bought an investment property and held it for almost 2 years vacant while we remodeled it on and off with our cash. (finally rented). We have 2 other vacant houses one of which was our first home (currently remodeling) And we own 2 lots one is commercial and one is residential. All are owned of right.
