I'm going to college in Long Island this year and want to get into house hacking, but the house prices in Long Island seem to be really expensive, is it still doable? I'm looking for a duplex for around 200k-300k

I am thinking of turning the 2 car garage into more living area.

I’m looking at the high rises near Lakeshore drive area.

Areas I like to invest are in the Northeast side of the country (I currently invest in Cleveland, OH). 

This is especially true when you are a single meber LLC.That said I own all my properties and do all my business through multiple LLCs.

And maybe it's my area.
