I've definitely been lurking for awhile reading blog posts and consuming audio content - but there's a lot more to get done, especially the DOING part (not just consuming).  

As a company, we do our best to stay out of areas that are going to consume too much of our time and resources.

This information  (both positive & advers) is meant to create accountability with the tenant as well as allow landlords the ability to work together legally sharing their information through a consumer reporting agency like Tenant Watch.

I think your father-in-law's attorney is mixing up something he read about the new TRID rules that started 10/3 that relate to consumer loans/ mortgages and is mistakenly applying what he read to all types of real estate financing.

Rather have one stove to replace or repair than two very old appliances that will be time consuming and probably expensive to find! 

Doesn't matter if your loan is a commercial loan or a consumer loan.A payment history from a servicer is accepted as they have no significant vested interest in any payoff.

It is time consuming but I just hate the look of the 70's paneling.
