Some make it easier though depending on how long you have been licensed. 

They take care of me by paying the rent and taking care of the property and I take care of them so they stay a long time.

They are going to do pretty much the same what I am doing right now (which is posting on Zillow and similar sites and putting a board in front of the property) as long as it is about renting.   

The solution to that problem is that next to our attic there is a small room with a toilet and a shower, which one of our neighbors owns but has not used for a long time.

I have no idea how long those type of windows (or any really) last, but pretend it is 40 years and they are 20 years old.
