Someone suggested I get a handyman and lately I have been thinking that despite having a few contractors I have relationships with that have done quality work I don't really have a "team" or collection of people to call on that I trust for fair pricing and good work and reliability.

On the other hand, Bellflower does not have rent control.If you are referring to a single family residence where there is only one unit on the lot, then it is not subject to rent control laws.In any situation, I would encourage good communication so that you and your tenant can have a mutually beneficial, long term relationship.

Look at a lot of properties to get a feel for what comes up, understand the neighborhoods well, connect with a lot of people there to build relationships and do this BEFORE buying a property.Great questions!
