I am new to BP and really blown away by the level of engagement and most people's willingness to help others.

Yet they don't put too much focus on the actual management side of it, and end up cutting corners, or engaging a third-rate management company.

In ABQ, you will find that most of the residential sales brokerages, particularly the big real estate brands, do not handle any property management related services, or don't allow their agents to engage in any sort of work that might be considered property management.

Any referrals would be welcome.I would also love some advice on which to engage with first - Property Management Company or Real Estate Agent when seeking a property to buy for rental income.

I recently bought a duplex and have received an application & deposit to hold from a newly engaged couple moving to my area.

Appreciate any advice/tips that you have to be best prepared for those meetings and excited to start engaging with everyone in the BP community! 

I don't know what you discussed would be completed so I don't want to come right out and say that it is too high because maybe I don't understand the full scope of the engagement, but I would think you could get an entity created for under $5k.I see that you're in San Diego, let me know if you need names or referrals for CPAs or attorneys locally. 

Its there business.. and a legit one..I have financed many students that never heard of BP and got their training through some type of guru.. but as stated where people get heartburn is the cost and the burn out rate. or failure rate of students.But look at BP  look at a 3 year old thread you will not recognize hardly anyone.. they got hyped up engaged for a while then moved on.. some because they successful and don't want to contribute anymore .. but the vast majority realize that its a tough business and they are not cut out for it for any number of reasons..

If you want to be completely passive go that route if you want control go that route. 100 Doors is just copywriting to get the interest of people to click the post and engage in conversation.
