How did you arrange a flood?

Well, for 5 years I said I don't network with members, but, this past couple weeks I have discussed a very limited business arrangement with one member, if that pans out, I'd have to say it was due to participation here or we would not have crossed paths.

Even on the rent to own arrangement, have your attorney do the contract signing so that everyone knows they are safe and no one can say you are trying to do anything wrong.

In the early 2000's, some urban pioneers, started staging a comeback, but it suffered a setback in the 2007-2011 crash.

I am pretty flexible with my schedule and could likely arrange it around any days that work for the majority.  

@Chris WillsonWelcome.At our Movers and Shakers meeting last Friday 8/8, one investor complained that when he went to Craig's List and communicated with three different contractors, None showed up or gave him estimates.However there were four at our meeting and two gave him estimates then and arranged to meet him at the property the next day.You're right, Contractors are critical Especially local in Boston, Massachusetts!

It turns out a close family member died, and they were out of town for the funeral/arrangements. 

It can be staged as a "consulting" fee or whatever you want to call it, if you can prove to both sides that you bring value by bringing two parties together then you can certainly ask for a percentage of the deal (albeit likely a small percentage).

I am in the early stages of developing my business model/strategy and basic structure of the business.

I picked up two units in the past year and both needed various stages of rehab.
