On the other hand, if Roderick was merely consulted for several hours over the phone, spoke about the possibilities and risks, and then you went your own way based on that conversation, without a final legal opinion from Roderick, then I would be much more hesitant.Again, it's just hard for me to imagine that Roderick was advising clients to open up multiple LLCs to bypass the one million-dollar restriction, for example, when that obviously won't fly with the SEC in the most fundamental way.
