I came across DSCR loans, and was wondering if refinancing the duplex, purchased two years ago, would help with our DTI when it comes to purchasing a new house hack.

I would never consider purchasing in an area where real estate doesn't appreciate over time. 

I'm not close at all to being financially ready to look at purchasing properties, but I would love to connect with fellow members of the community, especially any New England-based investors that look to invest in buy and hold properties out of state.

It could likely add some admirability to the property and help someone purchase it quicker if they desire that.
