I have reached out to some members that I found via the search feature but haven't received many replys. 

As such, we're expanding our search range to include more of Pierce county, Spokane (though this is very new concept I've been playing with), and out-of-state where we grew up in Central and South Florida.I just read a great report from FannieMae on Multi Family investing in Austin, TX. 

And search for an address. 

Have not searched this out on BP yet so not sure if there is much info on this specific subject. 

A good starting point @Mohammed A. is to jump on Loopnet.com and see which Brokers have some listings in the area. you can also read their bio and profile info. search other commercial listing in your area and contact them too.

I couldn't find anything with search but how do mortgages work as a Canadian looking to invest in US properties?

I would still search out some comps so you know what you're dealing with and discuss it with your lender.

The loan is attached to the property and will show up in a search of the property so the equity is what it is.

Any insight is greatly appreciated as I could not find any updates searching the web.
