I'm saving and shopping for my first multifamily property with the goal of house hacking.

The caveat to that being that if it is still vacant in December I would probably apply it to that month just because people always wanna save cash where they can during the holiday season. 

At least, you will save on not having to hire a plowing service :) We have properties with parking and without.

We saved enough to buy a duplex, moved into one half of it, and began renting the whole condo out nightly on Airbnb.

I have built relationships with a few investors who would be interested in partnering but it is not a large property and may not be worth the time to manage if the cash flow was split.Are there any other ways that I could turn this property into a rental instead of having it leech my savings for the next 4 months til the market picks up? 

I am very diligent about saving money and found real estate as an avenue for investment that could produce a passive income if I played my cards right.
