I have heard two things one is the government gives us a housing allowance so we should defiantly buy with the intention of renting when we leave or possibly selling.

You still need someone from your camp to reach out to them (the attorney representing them) and try to figure out what their intentions are.Legal fees don't climb up this quick and I'm pretty sure you're going to have equity above the 1st.
