Yep, existing tenants usually have a different level of cleanliness than I expect during showings.It won't help you now but, in the future, if you video the apartment in perfect condition you can upload it to youtube.

Or just put them on YouTube so they can absorb the storage and bandwidth ;)

Indeed there is a lot of bated breath when the tenant smokes in a non-smoking unit, keeps a pet against policy, fills the hallway or yard with trash, parks their car on the grass, plays amplified music at 2:00 am..........all of which is covered in a good lease.
