The vendor is not likely to object to this - if the deal fell through, they would be left with updated units to rent.You can always spin this as lightening the vendors load.

@Ben Leybovich if you want to be more like me, as you say, then you have it all wrong.When I needed to blow off some steam, I took an aerobatic plane out and flew some loops, rolls, hammerhead stalls, inverted flight, snaprolls, an inverted flat spin, and a lomcevak (youtube it).

e.g. would it make sense to do one or two small/mid-size apartment buildings (say a few tens of units) and have that on our CV before approaching lenders and investors alike, for credibility/track record, or would some panelists think that's spinning wheels and might as well focus on learning the system to go after a larger deal (hundred doors order of magnitude) and go fundraise based on that?
