It screams "we paid for reviews"which drives customers away. 

I thought she was going to start screaming at me, but instead she handed me a set of keys and garage door openers for the house.

Now 2 months in and I have one tenant in jail ( it looks he didnt have US residency) and the other one calling ( screaming is the right expression) every 3/5 days complaining about washer ( we replaced it), no insulation (we fixed it), clogged toilette ( it was fixed inmediately) and saying the problem with the toilette was never fixed and it looks like the septic tank may be the problem.

They will pay the ones that scream the most.  

I find that deeply discounted properties that scream motivated seller on craigslist does make my phone ring the most for finding buyers.I also had success with direct mail postcards to that zip code to non-owner buyers who bought in the last 5 months.Those are my successful things in finding buyers.Finding sellers is an entirely different problem for me.

That and I love to get a screaming deal on something and turn it into positive cash flow.

I'm running into a lot of apartment complexes lately that seem would be screaming good deals by the time I got them negotiated but have been reluctant to dive on any of them because of my lack of experience with something of that size.

I guess the saying about it being in your blood is true!

I think if your going to go big and make a business out of this it can be fruitful.. other wise if you have limited capital its like the OP said you make less than flipping burgers.Plus your capital is not liquid and if your cash is sitting there and that screaming deal comes up what then?
