Renovation of apartments (radiator/steam heating) in all three.  

I know cicero has resident permit parking.. but it seems soooo parked up,Avg price for 2 bedrooms - whats been your experienceunder 800 for no-parking800 - 900 unrenovated (lenolium floors, radiators, old cabinets, etc, etc) and 950 for large renovated? 

I am tempted to go in there Wednesday with a sawzall and cut lines in the basement to at least give the water somewhere to drain (path of least resistance = large missing section of pipe to be cut by me, water drains downhill, etc).I am simply wondering what my options are with regards to this water problem...if water starts flowing in the walls odds are the house will become totally trashed any beyond any repairs I am willing to make.There are 13 old cast iron radiators in the property as well...all of which have blown.

I have a leaky radiator coming from the 2nd floor that it dripping through the ceiling.

I'm thinking a solenoid valve on a couple of the radiators tied into a local thermostat in each apartment would be ideal but I've never seen or heard of this.

I see steam or hot water radiators, so there may be asbestos insulation.

Engine mounts two timing belt water pump, replaced radiator brakes tires when needed. 

Rings in varying shades of brown radiated from that point across the salon and into the kitchen.  

I pointed out where the cold air returns was and where the heat vents were.I guess they both grew up with radiators and electric heat.

The unit has been vacant due to a burst water line and two cracked radiators.
