I was thinking a self storage type of business would be great.

To my 19-year-old self, I'd say, buy and hold, every chance you get.

Even though I want to start off by self-managing my future property if possible, so I can gain experience and some extra income, the dream is to one day have enough properties that I would want to outsource the property management aspect.I was discounting the cash flow based on income not coming from my unit, yes.

Are there any self storage investors in GA?

The NDA:  The manager is immediately incredibly defensive, says they went above and beyond sending guys out on a Sunday to finish the job and he doesn't think any additional discount is needed since it was just an "inconvenience" for me.

Hi everyone i have a off-market 4plex in Missouri that i need help financing fast numbers are looking good its currently rented for 2250 and market rents for 2800 and my current offer seems strong at 225k My issue is financing i have 25% down and want to use conventional financing but looking for a lender that goes off the property and not my income as self employed and it wont work

I will be self managing from San Diego and once all the units are turned over and brought up to market rent within the next 18 months, I aim to cash flow $1,666/mo with 10.9% CoC and a 7.86% cap rate (calculated from the beginning purchase numbers) .

@Matthew Masoud are you planning to self manage?
