Nobody knows the future and anyone that claims otherwise is a fool.When housing values increase 50% or more over a two-year period, it's safe to say they won't stay there and they're likely to come back down hard and fast.My opinion: prices will drop around 20 - 25% below their peak before we see stabilization.Thoughts?

That being said prices should level out and those investors that dove in during the peak, paying top dollar and underwriting for 75% occupancy may become motivated sellers if they don't hit that metric.

I am considering converting into STR so I may not be doing this anymore but I will continue to have a need to house workers in a very expensive vacation market during peak season.
