@Andre Demers I wish I had more...I have family in the area and north to Steven's Point...so, I know it, but it don't really know it...I know Rockford to the South has changed for the better (slowly)...and as Chicago continues to grow and expand affordability is getting limited...

If you're in the city of Yucca Valley or the city of 29 Palms, permitting and plan check are going to have shorter lead times than if you are in the unincorporated San Bernardino County areas such as all of Joshua Tree, and areas further north of the 62 in Yucca Valley, 29 Palms, and Landers.For new build, my gc says expect 1 year from acquisition of land to the finished product.
