I appreciate any responses to what may be a very silly question!

These days all the offers I'm writing are for all cash from high net worth individuals. 

The main reason I posted this response is because I still have a day to cancel the whole transaction and pretend like it never happened.

Found out during the rehab's home inspection that there were (inherited) tenants in the property during the rehab, I thought this was a good thing until I asked what their rental terms were and got no clear response from my rehabber/PM.

Downside is split single contract into two, double closing costs and increased mortgage insurance costs.MY QUESTION:Does this sound correct, or is the underwriter mistaken...Do multiple townhomes require their own individual loans for each single unit (even if apart of the same structure)?

There is no need to post your response here, but just be honest with yourself. 

Until a tenant has proven themselves to be responsible they should never be on anything other than a M2M lease.

Not so much, we already have the capital to pay cash for our next place even without this one being closed but have yet to get a response.
