They pay the price in ½ FICA taxes, and benefits (some).pay less perhaps, and may pass that cost difference overhead onto customers vs. letting the subs pay their own self-employment taxes, insurance, etc…..Big corporations fight the same battle whether to hire subs or direct employees.

The increases should be at least 1.5% a year to 2% in the primary. 1% is rare and usually only when the parent corporate company is backing the property.Rather than me going into too much detail as I could go on forever just ask your questions.
