Capital for a LLC

Hello BP, The fees for forming a LLC in NY are breaking our pockets!! We've already created a LLC but do not have the funds to publish in our county newspapers. Unfortunately, we do not have people in our network that are able to loan us the funds.

Any suggestions on ways we can raise the capital?

Wow NY has some ridiculous publication requirements for LLCs. So, my first question would be why do you need an LLC at all? If you really need one, does it have to be in NY? LLCs are usually used for asset protection, but if you don't have the funds to publish, do you really have assets that merit dealing with these high costs?
