I am going to try the NTAREI this week in hopes of meeting some seasoned investors to talk with (I have heard from some research that it does draw a more experienced group, partly because it is not free).

All of what I hear is from investors who started out with no kids, some not even married, meaning they just had to worry about supporting themselves.Is there an experienced investor out there that got started in real estate investing when they already had kids, a spouse, a house and other responsibilities that they accumulated before they jumped to RE investing?

I've been trying to jump into wholesaling for awhile now and with the help and guidance of another investor from BP who is much more experienced than me, I have finally put my first property under contract. 

Although I'm pretty well versed and experienced in most buying/selling strategies (save for rehabs), my favorite niche is taking over property from sellers who need to sell.Looking forward to connecting!

I have come to rely on and cherish the advice and council from more experienced investors that I can now feel comfortable calling with questions about my deals.

A lot of less experienced rehabbers seem to like more entry-level, working class neighborhoods around the city like Beechview, Brookline, West View, etc.

Do you work with any more experienced investors in your area that can provide some guidance?
