So I’ll let you know what I know with the caveat that I’m not a lawyer, CPA, nor do I know your tax situation or how the syndications you are considering are structured.

Pretty sure if they cashout their pension that will be a huge tax hit with potential early withdrawal penalties.Have them talk to a cpa to confirm but I’m guessing they shouldn’t do this unless it’s a self directed ira

@Oles Street A good way would be to learn about what you want to do first by reading books and listening to podcasts, and networking with experienced investors. 

Also am in a similar situation where I represent a large network of investors.

Interested in networking and learning more about the market.

@Oles Street Educate yourself, network with other investors, identify your target market, work with realtors to find properties, do more networking, build your team and make a leap to buy that 1st property.

Network and meet people who can teach you something different.

Because I want to start creating a network.
