No way in H... would I even entertain the idea.

I would have minimum 3 sets...one original to remain in office, two sets (for 2 adult tenants for any vacant units), cutting more as needed prior to move in.

One company told me today that per adult (>18) will be charge $60 for background check.

It became clear that people confuse being an entertaining speaker with being a great lawyer representing a firm with great lawyers and we were simply naïve enough to bite.In the end, we did the right thing and rewrote several notes, leaving somewhere around $15k on the table.

Why entertain nonsense like this?

I don't have any federal workers but this thread is quite entertaining:) The love of federal employees is unmistakable:)

I think it's pretty standard to have everyone over 18 apply and be on the lease.I occasionally have groups with 4 or more over 18, and families where adult kids are still living at home or have moved back in with them.

However you  have to set a clear criteria and just paste it to all recipients so that you don't waste time entertaining them as many people would just click "Is this available" and will start spamming your messenger notification@Carlos Valencia @Albert Bui

There are some exceptions, like person just moving to the USA, young adults, prior homeowners.
