Hello BP Family,I am new to real estate investing and I am looking to purchase a 3 or 4-unit apartment building.

We are looking to build a small (800-1000 sqft) STR / vacation home in the next 12-24 months.

I'm not new in this space and know how to build long-lasting relationships over many years.Is there something I'm missing about the dynamics of hiring smaller contractors (handyman, landscaping, etc) in San Antonio? 

After saving for years and being priced out of nearly all of our favorite neighborhoods here in the northeast, we decided to give up the American Dream of being house poor the rest of our lives and get into real estate.

Anyone building in and around Greensboro/ Charlotte NC?

If costs were not 80% higher right now, we would build at 8% interest.Flex or contractor buildings.  

I have only done new turnkey builds in SWFL and a couple in Central so no advice on flips or wholesaling in FL but I'm interested in expanding my knowledge as well.

It's currently valued at about $95-$100k.Should I sell the property & 1031 into another "nicer" multi-unit in a better neighborhood that will certainly cost more & likely not cashflow as well?

Property values in Little Italy are really high right now, and they're definitely trying to build up the surrounding neighborhoods near University Circle.
