I remember from news reports at the time the Mexican Government seized their homes and I made a mental note to myself never to buy a home in Mexico.In another example, I worked for a Silicon Valley chip company in the 1980s that had had its sales offices in France seized (for one French Franc) in the 1970s.

My observation is Mental health with developmental disabilities will be more maintenance intensive than say transitional housing or alcohol halfway house.

Plus, for Buildium at least, there does not appear to be a way to allow individual roommate partial payments but not partial payments by late tenants, which muddy the water when it comes to late fees, eviction, etc.This isn’t a big problem if you only have a few units and can mentally keep track, but it is not sustainable for a growing mgmt business.I wanted to see what other managers are doing in the instance of roommates only wanting to pay their individual share as opposed to aggregating into a single payment for the unit.

But it's been VERY good to us here & now with kids/grandkids & the 23 hour flight, going home every year is too exhausting & a logistical nightmare so we just hang out in FL.
