There's only the FEMA program for flood insurance so there's no shopping around.....you can find a different agent to deal with but it's always the same insurer in the end.

So I just reached out to them and had a discussion and found out about their special program.

With the calfha program that also has programs for a downpayment assistance and closing costs at the moment.

You'll need a preapproval, and get all the kinks worked out for this program, before you submit any offers.

What about the "delayed financing rule", apparently a Fannie Mae program that allows you to borrow on properties you have owned 6 months or less as long as you paid cash?
