It would be different if this was a temporary guest situation but it sounds like the individual has resided at the property for quite some time (5 months+).

I’m looking into investing in vacation rental homes and my other option was jersey shore, but it’s hard to break even with those since the rental season is so short.

So either investors are jumping ship or cashing out.With the higher interest rates, inflation, post-Covid travel, Ukraine, recession, etc… some may argue these problems are temporary, but lower occupancy rates, and lower ADR rates are inevitable!

You can go north a bit to the Boston AREIA in Medford or a bit south to a meetup in Plymouth or the South Shore REIA.  

He is paralyzed but we are hopeful it's only temporary until we can get the tumor shrunk taking pressure off his nerves.  

I would personally stay away from the North Shore, the Hill District, and Homewood, but there's people on here that invest in these areas too.
