The most valuable part of the Expo is the networking opportunities.

It's pretty competitive in Socal, but it can certainly be done.How did you network in Indianapolis and Milwaukee before you started buying over there?

I have VZ network because it's the best out there.

Hope that's good advice for you.What I highly recommend is try to network with other investors in your area and pool your properties together in an effort to reduce your maintenance expenses.
