All the logistics that I had in mind were there, Visas, government stability, taxes, tourists, access to stock, etc.

Our houses that we work on are not restoration projects, but more of a bringing the original flavor back to life with some updated points.For an example, last year we worked on an amazing home with a smaller footprint (720 sq ft) but had three stories.The Craftsmanship of the word work was outstanding; just a little rough at places and 90% of it was painted.If this was our own home, we might have stripped the paint, revealed the oak, and refinished all the woodwork, making it drop dead gorgeous (We love natural wood).

First of all, no one buys a property, or business, or stock on its revenues alone. 

@Leah Bonner   I think it might violate the biggerpockets terms of service to express what I think about someone that calls the relatives of dead people to make a buck off their tragedy.

These people are typically not fans of stocks and investing, so they'll take a lot of convincing.  

Some will invest in the stock market.

If you're only a week away from his dead-line, I would just go ahead and let him have the chance to finish it out.

If they don't have any framed mirrors in stock, you can buy a frame, and have a glass company cut a mirror to fit and mount it.

No I have a fully stocked "emergency fund" so that part is fine.
