Plan on distinguishing myself from other builders by offering a better product.

It's amazing the credibility you get from your maintenance crew when you show them a product they didn't know about (vinyl planking floors or CU/AL rated outlets for aluminum wiring) or discuss a job with them as if you've done this hundreds of times.  

You will have to make your own decision about the morality, or lack thereof, in plagiarizing your professional advisor's work product.

But the work is not challenging and my fellow co-workers have instructed me to slow down on numerous occasion.

My compensation from my initial employer did not change, basically the companies just agreed to allow me to expand my duties and the new responsibilities will be paid for by the partner entity.5 years ago before I started working at this job, my employer entered into a long-term revenue-share agreement with the partner company (which is a separate entity w/ different ownership) to expand our capabilities and capitalize on a new product/offering that had a substantial market opportunity in our industry.

ToIf no luck, then I would go to a mortgage company and see what investor products they have.
