I know the terms... and did buy my 2nd rental subject to the HML in place... but my knowledge of particular situations is pretty substandard.

That being said my experience tells me owners, who have little knowledge of their market base their asking price on what their needs are as opposed to what the market would pay.

There is alot to cover and I'm sure it will end up in a mess for both of you as it's clear you have not been doing this long enough to gain the skills and knowledge to pull it off.....so my suggestion is to pull that option and get things set up first.
