In fact, that particular tenant is on Section 8 and the house is inspected annually anyway.Fortunately, that was the first and last time we've ever interacted or heard from that neighbor.I don't know what to tell you other than to keep being polite and reasonable.

This is a general response, naming attributes, based on your post and what I would want personally:-Monitored, police response -motion sensors in appropriate areas-cameras both indoor (public areas)  & outdoors - motion activated, records to cloud, holds for minimum 48 hours, w/ audio capability-remote light switch control-remote alarm mode settings : on, off, at home-remote lock / unlock entrance-remote doorbell camera (service, delivery interaction)-temperature & flood sensors around appropiate areas-alert capability (various) set for your concerns-ample exterior motion dection led lighting, some solar powered lights that illuminate all night-phone app that you are comfortable usingThere are more attributes I would want but I'll stop here. 

You have to deal/interact with people etc .

He pretended like I never asked him to move them....though I have pictures and video of all of it, including interaction with the Police.

You should have another LLC for all operations, all public facing interactions, rent collections, property management, contractors hiring, lease contracts, etc.

I also like interacting with owners and taking care of properties, as well as building systems--pretty much the name of this game. 

Depending on your previous experience in RE, you may have to learn a lot of new terminology.As part of the IL requirement, we had to attend a 15-hr interactive class, that was a huge help!
