Its all about debt to income ratio, cash on hand, credit score and steady employment.Sometimes, within a 10 minute phone call the lender can give you a ballpark qualifying loan amount over the phone based on the answers you tell them so, be prepared with knowing your income, debt, cash on hand, employer info & SS number.....Then, they will ask for copies of the paperwork to confirm what you said.
