We are getting ready to switch everything to Sherwin Williams because the box stores don't maintain the same colors or even manufacturers of paint.

It would be a great location for one of those newer min-mall setups with a few stores.

It is not fair that landlords have to give free rent and restaurants don't have to give free food.Then, all retail store should give people everything they demand and all they need to tell the retailers is they don't have a job and promise they will pay in 10 years through some payment program that will be devised by the government in the future.I've been lucky and have only 1 tenant in Las Vegas that is not paying, but I know some landlords who are getting hit hard enough to bankrupt them.

There is a vacant lot adjacent to a duplex I own and a small quaint strip shopping plaza, which has five stores including one of the towns most popular restaurants.

Those areas will appreciate more once they get the commercial developments they currently lack (HEB, restaurants, stores, etc).

I have heard from some books I have read about "Home depot university" where you can go to a store and learn more about paint, tile , fixtures etc.
