While I'm working to find an insurance broker to help me find a bullet proof insurance policy when the time comes, I also wanted to get advise from other experienced investors about getting insurance as a landlord.

I should mention I am a semi new investor and looking for loans that are no looks or not dependant on W2's.Could anyone advise on what I could possibly do to save the deal.

Unless you REALLY trust your contractor and know the area well enough, I would advise against it. 

Any specific advise on how to find, evaluate, negotiate, and select a landlord insurance policy would be greatly appreciated!

As with everything, I would still advise folks to talk to their own insurance professional for guidance, but short term condos have unique coverage needs that can’t always be met with a business policy.

My best advise and suggestion are the following:1) Absorb as many podcast and webinars you can.2) Get active in the forums.3) Network, Network, Network!!
