Then you can use it as rental property (or resell it) and then you can do it again with another VA loan somewhere else.Now what I do question is how much you are going to be able to afford as a junior enlisted in the armed services, even with the off-base living allowance included.

Most of my tenants could not reasonably afford to break a lease early because of the early termination fee that usually runs a bit more than 1 months rent, plus being responsible for rent until a new tenant is in place.

My decisions right now are whether or not stay in my neighborhood (which I know so well and am certain the high demand for rentals as well as purchases will continue) or buy in seattle, where I think the appreciation is even faster and I can find more affordable units than in my neighborhood.
