The 1% rule is commonly used to price real estate for sale in my area (Southern Indiana).

You'll end up getting all kinds of suggestions including some that don't relate to the issue at hand.It's been a while since I've lived in Southern California - but I distinctly remember most homes either have a small crawl space or are on a cement slab.  

Hello I am in the process of getting estimates for adding square footage to a single family residence , just wondering if anyone could help me out as to what is the going rate for adding square footage in Southern California

On a side note, I keep hearing great things about a booming economy in Israel's RE. 

I'm located in Leicester MA so southern Worcester county would be great but certainly willing to expand outside of that if needed.  

Not quite sure what the protocol is in other states for a for sale by owner transaction, but in Southern California the escrow company organizes the closing.

Southern California ; prices by the beach Santa Monica ,West L.A etc didn't drop too much but prices in much of the valley crashed with 50 % or so drops .

I am getting ready to throw 500k in my local market here in Southern California for the brrrrr method.
