My girlfriend and I have lost many nights of sleep over this. my lease expires in OCT, so we are going to leave for sure, but thought I ask anyways if there is anything I can do.

Perspective from a guest: I stayed at a house that slept 60 (There are a lot of us) and they provided exactly one roll per bathroom, and told us we'd have to bring the rest.It's hard to find a house that sleeps all of us.

The issue with the Rec Room is that the building codes are different because there is no intention for someone to be living/sleeping there.

Work closely with our neighbors to be sure they're happy with our guest choices and they are not being disturbed.

The simple solution is YOU sleep in the non-legal bedroom.

The lease states that the tenants will keep the property "clean and safe" and will not disturb the peace of other tenants or neighbors.  

It is generally reasonable to require a Veterinarian's report on the animal; require the animal be spayed or neutered unless contraindicated by the Vet; must be leashed or in a carrier in hallways/stairwells/elevators or other confined spaces unless that interferes with the tasks the animal performs; handler must clean up after the animal in common areas and ensure no offensive odors emanate from their residence; animal cannot be aggressive toward others, or cause disturbance with barking or other noise that is not an element of their purpose; and tenant must update the "request for accommodation" and Vet report annually.

Trusting the sponsor will be paramount to you sleeping at night, and I can't stress that enough.

The brutal truth is.... if you're sleeping in your cabin (condo) it's not one penny cheaper than sleeping in someone else's cabin (condo) next door.

Walk there on the days you can't drive, or sleep in a tent and call uber for delivery of needed items.As your stock depletes refresh it.
