When proposing a deal to potential investors, how many investors is ideal to say fund a $500,000 duplex intended for buy and hold?

Considering their LTV is at market or debatably below market (depending on the asset), if the interest rate or loan terms aren't advantageous, I'd also suggest getting quotes from other lenders.Since you are located in upstate NY, I'd look for local banks.

@Fabian Escobar we typically advise clients to create a separate LLC (holding no assets) to act as management company for purposes of creating privity between that entity and the series LLC (which will hold the assets).

They've got a travel trailer sitting on the septic for the time being.When we reached out, owner simply said they needed to hold off on selling it until next year b/c they sold their primary residence this year.Don't know much about tax implications of selling primary residence in the same year as a rental.
