@Jacob Compton I'm doing a flip right now in Leavenworth and we had MASSIVE foundation issues.

I am just getting started with Tax liens, but I heard on a radio interview with Warren Buffet - when asked about what he would invest in if he were starting out today, he stated "tax Liens".  

I would recommend working with a realtor who also invests themselves.Then take massive action and start analyzing properties and making offers. 

Get one of those massive old-school bricks, and tie a note with your email and phone number.

Most comments seem to be against you.Warren Buffet is on record saying the tax system favors the wealthy.I share your concerns and include myself in the wealthy category, but I, like Warren Buffet, will still take advantage of every tax break I can. 

There are more luxury apartments being built in this area, a massive clothing company just built their warehouse here, so that will bring in way more jobs.

I was a bit nervous, but Warren Buffet says to invest when there is blood in the streets. 

(I cannot qualify for REPS under my current circumstances) I know this is more of a personal decision/preference and I know that there other advantages to investing in real estate, however if tax free supplemental income is the main benefit, I may instead look to focus more on syndications and not take on the headaches and massive time requirement of owning rental properties.

So for me it was worth it in spite of the massive cost because I've seriously increased my lifetime earning potential and I'm in a job that I enjoy, working with people that I like.

Directly across the street from my place is a massive condo complex, which is an old textile mill that's been renovated into high end condos.
